Writing Through the Darkness: How Creativity Led Me to Abundance.

There was a time in my life when depression felt all-consuming. It was as if I was trapped in a space where abundance was nowhere to be found—at least, not in the way I had imagined. I struggled to see the good in my life, to recognize the wealth of love, creativity, and purpose that surrounded me.

Then, something shifted. I realized that I was abundant. That I carried it within me, even when my external world seemed uncertain. And the one thing I could do—without anyone’s permission, validation, or help—was write.

Writing became my light in the darkness. Every word I put on paper was a reminder that I was still here, that I had something to give, that my thoughts, my voice, and my experiences mattered. Through writing, I found clarity. I found healing. And most importantly, I found abundance in its truest form—the ability to create, to express, and to grow from within.

Abundance isn’t just about money or material things. It’s about recognizing what you already have inside you. It’s about realizing that even in your lowest moments, you are still enough. When I began to shift my focus to what I could do instead of what I had lost, doors began to open. My mind rewired itself from scarcity to possibility.

If you’re struggling to see abundance in your own life, start by embracing what’s already within you. Maybe it’s writing, painting, speaking, or creating in any form. Whatever it is, allow it to guide you back to yourself. Because the moment you stop looking outward for abundance and start recognizing it within, everything changes.

What’s something you can do today that reminds you of your own abundance?
