The Healing Journey: A Reflection on Love, Patience, and Purpose

As I wind down today’s events with a cup of tea and my journal in hand, I find myself reflecting on an encounter that reminded me of something fundamental: I can sometimes come on a little strong when assisting others with their healing. My intentions are rooted in love and urgency—I want people to break free from the suspense and horror that unresolved trauma creates in their lives.

Trauma, left unhealed, doesn’t just linger in the background; it seeps into our bodies, creating a state of dis-ease. Deep down, our subconscious minds know that health is our birthright. When there’s a disconnect between this truth and our lived experience, an internal battle begins—a battle that can only be resolved by facing ourselves, by cultivating a mindset of health, wealth, and peace.

But let’s be honest: the path to healing isn’t easy. It requires courage, effort, and time—far more than the instant gratification our modern lives often promise. And for me, this has been a challenging truth to accept.

When Helping Felt Like Failing

I used to believe that if someone rejected my help, I had failed them. I would feel like I hadn’t done enough, like I wasn’t good enough. At one point, I even offered my services for free, desperate to make healing accessible to everyone. And yet, people would still decline, or they’d fall off their healing plans despite seeing results. Frustrated and disheartened, I stopped coaching altogether.

In that pause, I turned inward. I had to confront my own wounds and ask myself the hard questions: Why was I so attached to the outcomes of others? Why did their progress (or lack thereof) feel like a reflection of my worth?

The answer was simple but profound: I needed to detach. My job wasn’t to force healing; it was to share knowledge authentically and lovingly, trusting that those who were ready would take the steps they needed.

The Power of Choice

I was reminded of a time when I was battling an "incurable" disease, and a wise woman told my mother, “She won’t receive total healing until she does what God wants her to do.” That statement stuck with me because healing, I’ve learned, isn’t just about addressing symptoms—it’s about aligning with purpose, self-worth, and the willingness to invest time and energy in oneself.

Healing takes time. It asks us to look inward, confront childhood wounds, and rebuild from the inside out. It’s not a quick fix, like taking medicine for a headache. But while the effects of medicine fade, true healing creates a foundation that can sustain us for a lifetime. When we slip—and we all will—self-awareness allows us to course-correct before we fall too far.

A Thirst for Healing

There’s a quote that resonates deeply with me: “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink because you’re thirsty.”

And I am thirsty.

I thirst for others to experience the freedom of living life on purpose. I thirst for people to tap into their innate ability to heal and love themselves into health and abundance. My passion might come across as intense, but it’s fueled by love—love for myself, and love for everyone who seeks my assistance.

Healing isn’t just a journey; it’s a declaration that you are worthy of peace, joy, and vitality. So, to anyone reading this, I invite you to take the first step. It might not be easy, and it might not be fast, but I promise you, it will be worth it.

You are deserving of a life free from pain, trauma, and distress. And when you choose to begin, know that I am here—not to drag you to the well, but to cheer you on as you find the strength to take that first sip.
